I rush too much. As I’m scurrying at a frantic pace, I hear the rabbit in Alice In Wonderland singing, “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date. No time to say hello good-bye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”

Can you relate?

As I look around it seems that much of the world is in a hurry. Streets and highways are filled with speeders. Customers cut in front of others in checkout lines. People interrupt each other to get their words in first. Tweeters and texters are tapping keys at lightning speed.

What are we doing with all the time we save by rushing around? It doesn’t appear we are using it to relax more or spend time with each other.

I have a colleague who adds 20% “flex time” in everything he schedules. Twenty percent! I’m in way too big a hurry for that. So I’m starting with 10%.  Can you join me?

Enough hurrying and scurrying. What’s the rush?
